Samus vs Fox I think I did okay. It's not a favourable matchup for Samus but it's manageable I feel. A bit of lag caused me to roll a few times unintentionally. Yoshi vs Fox is a lot more even I think, but I kept SDing with Yoshi which was frustrating, I'm not normally that bad. Cloud vs Fox seems pretty even, I've only recently picked him up and been practicing a bit. I have no idea how that Up B killed you on Smashville.
I don't know much about MUs. I don't think it's a good idea to keep thinking about them though. I'd suggest working on mixing your landing options up a bit more instead. Cloud is pretty good at juggling against almost all characters. You could also try to move horizontally away and grab the edge instead. Still not a favorable position but better than being above cloud.
GGs Anyone else up for some games?
Thing is I was mixing it up but your aerials kept beating me out every time no matter what I tried. None of my aerials work to cover my landing, they all get beaten by Cloud's aerials, and I tried every one of them many times (you probably didn't notice because you kept beating them). So trying to attack back is out of the equation, that much is pretty clear. Down b wasn't effective as even when changing my direction after it your range was big enough to catch me anyway. Even when I opted for the ledge your disjoints beat every getup option I tried most of the time unless I caught you dropping shield. Even air dodging wasn't reliable due to the lingering hitbox up air has. I'm kinda at a loss as to how Samus can land against Cloud reliably.
Firstly, there is no reliable way to land. This is just what happens when playing a floaty character against higher level players.
I did notice you trying different attacks. that's not exactly what I mean by mixing up your options though. Your attacks wont beat out cloud UpAirs, so if you think I'm going to UpAir don't attack, but instead airdodge. You eventually started airdodging, but I caught on and started to wait for them to finish and punished you for it. It's a bit of a rock paper scissors. You can't do the same option every time (attack vs airdodge vs do nothing) Ohh and the same logic applies on the edge. Cloud's on stage edge guarding is actually not very good.
