Match process

1. Both players select their first character through the character select drop down list
2. Player B strikes one stage (starters only)
3. Player A strikes two stages (starters only)
4. Player B selects a stage from the two remaining stages (starters only)
5. The first game is played
6. The winner of the previous match bans one stage
7. The loser of the previous game selects a stage, counterpicks can now be selected
8. The winner of the previous game selects a character
9. The loser of the previous game selects a character
10. The next match is played
11. If there is no winner for the set, go to step 6

Additional rules

Please play a test match before the real match to ensure that you both have a stable connection

Sudden death is determined by the player with the most stocks and least damage

If there is a tie in sudden death, then a tie breaker is played on the same stage with 1 stock 2 minutes

Both players can play on an Omega or Battlefield version of a stage if they both agree

All variations of Miis are legal, if you are using a Mii then let your opponent know what your build is before you play
