I'm not sure where you are coming from about tradition of PW due to never having played it in brawl.
But the air conditioning and space is a big factor for a comfortable tournament. I also believe that LEF has been looking at a lot of sources saying 2 stock vs 3 stock timings ect and has done an excellent job so far. Keep up the good work.

that's why i play random online for the most part[/quote]
I find it hard to switch mindsets. Sometimes i get games online that are near indistinguishable with lan which is a great opportunity for learning. Other times its just at that perfect spot where tech chases are about predicting the future rather than reacting :P.
When you jump on your own wii-u and have a goody bag of 8 different ways to specifically hate out a match up vs having to play vanilla on someone elses; It almost looks like the difference between 2 consoles that don't have all the characters unlocked. I don't know how it can work until there is some level of standardization.
Can Confirm Standup feels great. Roll if they throw out something you can roll past and reset nuetral. Jump and fall to edge seems ok if they are fishing for aerials. But this may lead you to be locked to the edge for a bit arent fishing*

I too have played with kaion for hours with lan like conditions
