Previously hailing from the nation's capital, the self-proclaimed "Best Fox in Australia” who almost won Bam 7 but didn't, moved to Newcastle in late 2016. From regularly competing with some of Australia's finest, such as Waveguider, @Follow @Pazx13 on Twitter, and Maplemage; Atyeo is now forced to give it his all against the likes of Sketch, KizzaBam and even Dreep. Having won every Newcastle event he attended this quarter, Atyeo has earnt the #1 spot by a landslide. Some of Atyeo's takedowns include but are not limited to: Enny, the Wonderkid Brat; Machoman Randy Savage; and Gong's own Mr Best Dressed Buster B. Baxter.

Benjam a.k.a Señor Spin2Win is Newcastle's resident Gongslayer having taken out half of their current PR, and the majority of their Q3 PR. In Newcastle, Benjam has consistently taken games off everyone (with an exception for Atyeo) and maintains a solid set record against everyone (except Atyeo), rightfully earning him the #2 position, much to the displeasure of a certain member of the panel.

After a rocky start to this quarter G-Man is inching closer and closer to reclaiming his youth and relevancy, with the ability to really give everyone the beatstick provided he is sober. The man who boasts the ability to suck a bowling ball through a straw has gone even in set counts with Buster of Planet Gong this quarter, but who will be the one to come out on top in 2017?

4. https://twitter.com/Kelp101
Kelp has made quite a name for himself this quarter boasting various prestigious achievements for himself, such as his performance at EB Expo where he made Top 32 Winners side after defeating top players such as “Ben”, the on day sign up. Kelp manages to consistently beat those below him, but still struggles heavily against Atyeo and Benjam.

5. https://twitter.com/SpacemanBad
SpacemanBad, one of the Newcastle scenes' most renown alcoholics and self proclaimed #1 on Coffs Harbour PR, has been on the rise lately, performing very well and even managing to take a set or 2 off of Benjam and somehow managing a 2-0 against Buster. SpacemanBad found himself at various Sydney tournaments this quarter, achieving modest yet respectable results for himself. If the young Spaceman's growth stays this consistent, he may very well see himself in the prestigious upper echelon of Newcastle's finest in the near future.

Speedy has had a relatively inconsistent quarter, but he's had some big wins over G-man and SpacemanBad; and had always managed to place in bracket when he travelled to Sydney. Outside of smash, Speedy is one of the most explosive members of the Newcastle scene having made one or more questionable decisions in his life. More consistency and solid wins could see Speedy moving up for next quarter, but only time will tell.

7. https://twitter.com/M1kkle
Mikkle started out this quarter strong with a GvP victory in our first week, but has been on a steady decline since then. A handful of poor placings in the pro bracket and losses to unranked players has prevented Mikkle from obtaining a higher spot.

Schnitzel's lack of significant results and placings had seen him drop more than a few places hits quarter, but some of his recent performances have allowed him to claim a spot. At GvP's first monthly Snit found himself 2-0'ing Thorpenado in pools, showing the world that this man can still bring the scalding milk from time to time. https://youtu.be/zWkI_r5UiPs?t=317

9. https://twitter.com/__Bussy
Bussy has seen a considerable drop in performance this quarter, with a myriad of losses to those above him. That being said he still manages to get into the pro bracket more times than not, securing him a place on PR. Towards the end of this quarter, Bussy experienced a character crisis choosing to use Corrin instead of Robin at SXC16 (the most well run tournament in Australian history). Perhaps a new character and the 90 Day Yoga Challenge will see Bussy returning to his former glory.

10. https://twitter.com/ohnoKenoshaKiD
Despite winning a GvP, KenoshaKiD's overall inconsistency has granted him the role of Newcastle's Gatekeeper. That is not to say that he is a pushover, with a healthy amount of wins on some of those above him and any of those that would threaten to take this 10th spot. Not only that but KenoshaKiD managed to beat the Gong's champion and saviour, the one and only Kristine2016, in pools at FF5. Fuelled by his disdain of bad DK matchups and a cold can of Heinz Creations Beans, KenoshaKiD still remains a solid threat could see himself climbing the ranks with a few more impressive victories.
