I've been kind of bored lately, so to help keep up with latest web technologies I created a Progressive Web App for calculating Donkey Kong's Ding Dong percents in Smash4. The link was here --> https://winningwithdk.com.
This works like a standard app that's downloaded from the App store, but it can be downloaded to a phone/tablet for quick access and offline use. It's been built mobile-first, so is optimised for handheld devices, but scales up to desktop sizes coherently as well.
You might have missed the parts where Googers was shit-talking Perth for a straight 45 minutes and SD-ing repeatedly in our mock doubles. "What's a shield button? I never use it - it takes too much effort. I don't need to tech, because I shouldn't even be getting hit."
Also, I may have almost given Jezmo a cardiac arrest from my Falcon's frickin' sweet (horrible) moves. I won at least one Falcon ditto match because he was dying of laughter.
Sure, if you feel like you clawed your way there with blood, sweat and tears. If it was an easy 3rd, then not so much, but it's up to your judgment. The badge is meant to be a representation of hard work and dedication.
I'd be happy to claim the badge for the first time that Exor and I managed to fell the great beast Elton in tournament.
Managed to make 3rd place by beating Elton in some nail-bitingly close matches, when it would have most likely been 4th place otherwise.
"-The Maribro Rule. Exclusive to this tourney, if you are 1-0 (best of 3) down in a set or 2-0 (best of 5) down in a set and bring it back to even (1-1 or 2-2) then you are allowed to call the Maribro Rule and challenge your opponent to a Pac Ditto. It is encouraged you emulate Maribro Sensei in this ditto and run away and offstage BF charge as much as possible."
