Heh yeah, a fully charged charge shot will eat through most projectiles, so if I have it charged, using hadoukens in neutral is probably not the best idea.
I don't play Ryu so I really don't know what your best options actually are, but it seems to me you are actually better off approaching from the ground in this MU more so than in the air.
