I gotta get that dingdong timing down packed , I always feel like it's the one thing separating my potential from yours.

Your timing on the ding dong was fine mostly, one of the issues you were having was that you weren't following my DI after the cargo throw. All those games where you were whiffing ding dongs was because I was DI-ing behind you and you weren't following where I was going from the throw.

I'd say some of your fundamentals need a bit of work as well, stuff like habits from the ledge, and scenarios where you basically muscle memory into throwing out the same moves.
You eventually didn't do it as much but from the beginning of our session you'd very often do regular getup from the ledge and immediately spotdodge. Later on you'd use ledge jump a little more but it would've been better to see more getup attack and ledge roll implemented. You'd also opt for ledge hop upair/fair some of the time which is questionable, especially ledge hop fair which I think is terrible and you should never do again, but ledge hop upair has it's uses very rarely. Ledge-hop autocancel nair and going back to the ledge is something I've seen DKWill do as a bait the opponent in running in to punish your ledge regrab and then making the opening for you to sneak back onto the stage, or instead of going to the ledge he'd ledgehop nair into their shield and then aerial up-b to beat out attempted punishes and escape to a platform. Can't really vouch for the effectiveness of this though as I don't see him do it often, nor do I do it often myself.
There was also a handful of patterns in your offence which the opponent can easily exploit if they catch onto them. Stuff like landing with bair if your back is to the opponent is something you really shouldn't go for all the time as I can tell you from experience that good players will not let you off the hook too easily for it. It's very easy to time a perfect shield on DK's bair if you're expecting it. If you can condition them into shielding expecting a bair though it opens mixup opportunities where you could do something like empty landing and then getting turnaround grab or something, so it's not all bad but just don't throw out bair when you're landing all the time pretty much. Uptilt would come out about 90% of the time if I was standing behind you and you were in shield. It's good that the sweetspot is in DK's armpit and it catches opponents jumping but it isn't the safest move if they just shield it and especially if the opponent is standing out of the range behind you. You also should be looking out to punish airdodges and getting ready to chase their double jump if you get them into an uptilt string. If you uptilt them and then jump and nair then you could catch their double jump which leads to more string potential. I say nair here because you should be avoid using upair to juggle just so it's as fresh as possible and the ding dong will kill earlier. That's how you'll be able to get those kills with no sparks especially when you have rage; like when I'd be on 120 rage or something and you'd lose your stock getting grabbed at 70ish. As for the giant punch, I feel like you were telegraphing your giant punches a lot as you'd often full hop airdodge before throwing it out. The fullhop airdodges into nair/bair were actually working pretty well for you in those first few games but you just stopped doing it altogether about 3 games in. Anyways I feel like you could've been using giant punch in places where you could utilise the super armour more but the occasional randy punch works well too.
Okay I'll stop ripping into you now. I think your use of Fsmash in neutral is actually quite good. DK's hands are intangible when you use it so it's like a sword attack while also having a lot of range and keeping your hurtbox tucked away behind, so against slow opponents it's safe to whiff in front of them and you should have time to get a roll in before they reach you or even stuff their approaches with jab or dtilt. When you hit their shield with Fsmash it's -13 frames for you, which is not terrible, but if you consider DK's fastest grounded options (his rolls) are all frame 4 then it leaves the opponent 17 frames to punish you if you Fsmash their shield. If you consider it takes 8 frames to drop your shield (I think) then it leaves them 9 frames to punish you, so unless you hit their shield and you're standing right in front of them then Fsmash is safe a lot of the time, well it depends on the character really. I think in the DK ditto the only option that the other DK would have to punish is up-b out of shield but again, if you space the Fsmash on their shield well then it's probably safe. Basically what I'm saying is spacing Fsmash in neutral works as a good bait in some matchups and I may have to use it some more myself.
Also you're much better at edgeguarding DK then I am, lol. I'm pretty bad at timing the bairs to hit through up-b. Play you again sometime. maybe I should've PM'd that

Far out that was huge. I would of rather a casual conversation about this sort off stuff rather then the huge spill. Still I like the tips.
