Recently a number of top Australian Smash players converged in Adelaide for the chance to win a trip to Genesis 2015 in America. This was ultimately won by Ghostbone on his home turf without dropping a set all tournament.
To celebrate this QLD Smash is offering a badge to anyone who posts in this thread a congratulatory message to Ghostbone. This badge will close on Monday. He will be representing our country soon, so it's important that we all get behind him and offer him our support.
Who knows what he might end up being able to do over at Genesis?

Good going Ghost; I remember when you (and Grim/Mason, does he even play anymore?) first rocked up at your first tourney; you improved a lot in every way.

Also you Nike's, I remember also when you first showed up as you had that "newbie" look to you and (iirc) I was the TO for the event and I basically ordered people to start playing you (since I think newbies should be given top priority to keep the scene healthy).
Hopefully you both do the same now yourselves.
I know you'd both be better than me at S4, obviously, but one day I'll randomly show up and beat use all, just u wait m8s.....(that or just scream until you lose or quit). <3
Nah it's very hard for me to get a time where I'm free anymore - I still remember that ridiculous meet we (dunno if Nikes was at it) had at Jamage's house where his power went off (and it was hot)....sigh....
- Ghost I remember a few Brawl matches I had with (more so Melee with him), he had a distinct MK though (I'm told, since I haven't watched the vids you have a good S4 MK, I'll get around to watching it soon).
- Nikes I remember had a very good Brawl Yoshi (which on Brawl Yoshi was hard to use well, kinda like Sheik, but worse, as a character, but you were like the Scabe of the Yoshi's, so I can imagine since iirc Yoshi is high up on S4 what you're like on S4).
Congrats to both of you; I may still yet change my pessimistic opinion on SA! <3
But iirc you're both around the same age and I'm 30, so yer, get off my lawn etc johns.
Also it's good to see SA people besides myself (and Apollo when he was there) getting out to tourneys (without say me funding them) in other states, and especially overseas if Ghost is going to the US, I may even see him there, though I'm more of a dark overlord with funds than anything else.

I must also admit that I was one of the people cheering for Jezmo and didn't expect to see too much from you after your performance in Victoria recently, but hearing how you achieved what you set out to through practice, research and dedication has only forged a solid amount of respect for you as a player to me. You were in my eyes one of the underdogs to win this and to defy these odds is incredible and should be celebrated.
Rip it up in America and don't listen to anyone who says that the Americans are going to trash you - there's no reason why you can't surprise them and even take Genesis III imo. BELIEVE.
