gg Naglfar. Jab cancel and Utilt strings really depends on character weight/fall speed. Using them at wrong times can be quite punishing for Fox.

Yeah it's one of my habits that I never really got rid of. I'm too used to approaching with aerials as Ness. Thanks for the matches and tips! Would love some more matches against you once my dog learns that the Wiimote's not a chew toy. XS

Nar I mean like if the matchup is against like for example cpt falcon, sheik or another Fox. then the jab cancel will not work as well and Utilt strings will last longer but only after ~20% (not quite sure on the numbers just get some damage in). Their fast fall speed puts them on the ground quicker than you can do something else.

I guess it's the sort of thing you get a feel for after grinding a bunch of games. I still have to work through the challenges presented by the controls though. I'd keep playing but yeah, r button. :(
