idk why Kaion laughed, but I laugh at the phrase tier whores because it's almost demeaning competitive players who do what they can to win. If that's how they want to play I'm not sure why they deserve hate for that. At the end of the day it's competition.

My argument is going to sound really generic and I respect yours, but idk, I just feel like they're so focused on doing whatever they want to win but not enjoying the game as much as they could be. It's really as simple as that.

shielding is nerfed
rolling buffed
mk nerfed to the ground
wolf removed
edge hogging removed

There are definitely diddy players out there that play fully for winning - there are definitely other diddy's who really enjoy him as a character and his moveset. I'm just naming the minority.

Yeah, that's because smash 4 FEELS like Brawl...but just isn't. The game is way too different from brawl to feel as similar as it does.

My biggest struggle with Smash 4 is how the aerial game goes, very little short aerial game or jumping out shield to use an aerial punish.

My question still stands though. Why does your definition of fun mean more than others? For all you know, they have more than you with the game by giving themselves the best chance to win, and winning that way.

don't get me wrong, i still love brawl. I've never met anybody who preffered it to ssb4 though haha. I'll admit pm and melee are better. I just can't play melee cause gamecube controller infuriate me. And PM just sort of died.

When i played brawl i didn't think there was anything wrong with it, but i can't think of a single mechanic that makes it better than ssb4. At first i hated the ledge mechanic, but now it makes characters with otherwise shit up B's better.

On the topic of tier whores, I agree. I have endless respect for people who play lower teirs, and play cause they love the character, not because they need to win. In saying that, I think it takes a lot of skill to play sheik, I mean...I have no clue how to player. I main falcon and I think he's pretty high tier, at least top 10. But I also play merio and denkey kong. I just like characters with great bairs and tricky fairs I guess.

I'm still salty that jezmo knocked me out of the bracket when he switched to diddy haha. I had never versed a diddy until then. I know he's recently been nerfed but he's still damn good.

I guess what im trying to say is hate luigi.

Im half half with the tier whore thing.

I thought Brawl got a bit silly in QLD when everyone was playing Metaknight and really enjoy the wide range of viable characters in this game.

nversely, theres really nothing wrong with pickung the best character and I dont like the disrespect people like Jezmo get for it when he's great with low tiers like Dr Mario.

Its just such a loaded and polarising term I find it amusing when its used. I also wonder who zero goes now lol.

As far as he's told me, Jezmo also prefers Brawl.

@Shitashi - I don't think there's anything wrong with players using high tiers to win, the problem comes when theres SO MANY OF THEM like Metaknight where the entire meta game revolves around them.

My definition certainly doesn't mean more, it's just some people probably aren't having as much fun with this game as they could be. Nothing more, nothing less, it's literally stays at that.
