It's punishable if you preempt it, and time it correctly. Otherwise you can just roll or spotdodge. It's by FAR the safest option imo.

Haha I don't disagree with you, get up is quite good. The other ledge options do have uses though.

Yeah, sure. I'd use get up like 19 times out of 20 though. If the person is trying to edgeguard properly, that is. If they are right next to the ledge you could use attack or jump into an aerial.

I just mean if they're positioned a few steps away and guarding properly, it seems like get up is the only viable option.

Yeah, it works by making him invincible then attacking with a palm strike, regardless of whether an attack hit or not.
