GG's Lethal, Fun matches. ^_^ Sorry to cut it short though, I had like 6 - 8 lag spikes deaths and it wasn;t fun anymore. :P

Gg's MGK what I was trying to do was a lot more mix ups and trying to think about what I should do in a certain situation. Thoughts pls! Any better or worse?

Hrmm, honestly, when I played as Ganondorf, I felt less pressure from you. Not sure what it was but maybe it was that you weren't spacing as well as you do? As for Jr, you learnt the MU quite fast and we had some close ones but I never felt you were mixing up to a point I didn't know how to approach you.
All in all, just felt like your pressure and spacing was a little off. I'll try and notice it more when I played Ganondorf next time as when I was Jr, different MU, so thought you just played it diff.
I did noticed you did more Paralyzes and less Nair's. ZSS needs her spaced Nair pressure, to me anyway. :P

Hmm.. It felt like I was doing mix ups as I did change up my play style from what I usually do. From what I understand, mix ups are using different options most if not all the time in a situation, correct me if I'm wrong. I'll have to watch some replays to see what's going on.

Ggs Scott, you've improved a lot since i played you last. Sorry about the lag not sure what that was.
You had quite a few good characters. Cloud was my favorite though. You've confirmed my fear that he can camp Megaman.

Lethal-Lychee said:Hmm, not really. You actually want to use the same (as long as it's good) option in situations it's good in. Mixing it up is what you do when your opponent starts to figure out or change their play pattern to avoid it. An easy example would be that I've gotten up off the ledge 3 times in a row safely, maybe you punish the 4th. Mix it up and get up attack/jump etc. Don't let someone get comfortable with your options, but don't choose bad options just because you want to be different. If something is working against a player, you should 100% keep doing it. Just mix it up once they start to figure it out, because then you can catch them with something new, and give them twice as many things to think about.

I agree that you were mixing it up but it felt like you were using different moves for a 1 purpose. If that makes sense? I did like how you did dThrow to uSmash when you felt like a air dodge was coming.
Like a example on what I mean is we'll take Ganondorf's Wizard kick as a example. Sure, it's a constant hit box but it has many uses, such as, hitting opponent, ledge cancel baits, hitting rolls and shield pressure. Mix up between these options per move, that's probably a better way to mix up. ^_^

Ooh I see what you guys mean now! Thanks for the clear cut explanation about mix ups. I've been told that I need to work on my mix ups and was given examples so I've been trying it out and have read up plus researched it. They basically said mix ups are changing your pattern to catch the opponent off guard. Which is what that one purpose was MGK. I was using different moves and movement to try catch you off guard.
Ty again Scott and MGK :D Maybe I just misunderstood the term

No Problem Lethal. ^__^
I also just remembered, when you did dThrow into Fair, this doesn't really have a point unless of 2 things, stage control or staling this move instead of your other ones. Uair or uSmash out of dThrow both have a purpose, Uair as it's god tier but also Up smash to cover air dodges to keep your opponent in the air. These are, to me, are the mix ups you want to focus on for the dThrow situation as your covering every option with these 2 moves. ^_^
Hope this is making sense?

Awesome, I'll take note of that as well. I don't want to sound arrogant or anything, but it is possible to use down throw/Nair to Fair at less than 20% as it can follow up. Over that though I agree with you and the points that have been laid out. Ya it makes sense :).

Sure, I'm guessing that's the best option % wise. So if you want % and back to neutral, do that. ^_^ I just see ZSS punish game as too strong to reset to neutral. These are the situations you'll learn with time and experience on which mix ups are the most effective for you. ^_^
