GGs "tom" ;p Your mario was getting better throughout, keep at it. Just a note, dash attack at ledge it pretty unsafe, and you got up from the ledge by jumping all the time, mix it up! :)

Yeah, I immediately winced at myseld whenever I dash attacked at ledge. I quickly figured out it wasn't good on shield, but I guess I just have an autopilot problem. The whole mixup thing is something I need to learn, too.

Fun matches though! Hopefully I can get better for the next time we match up. Games, anyone?

-Start going for jumps a bit more in neutral, it'll change where I have to aim for as lots of moves aren't designed to catch full shorthop height.
-Just like fox's ground buttons his air buttons all confirm into his other stuff, throwing in a nair or bair in neutral does wonders for him because you can't just auto pilot against it.
-Primarily the way you play is to hold shield when you get scared/on approach, and you roll for the most part out of shield. You generally approach with dash attack and try to go for CQC which Fox isn't really about. This is easy to deal with on my end as I have the freedom of only having to predict one axis of movment (horizontal) so it's a lot easier to calculate the kind of things you were going to go for. You also hope that I'll drop my shield so you can ftilt > usmash but it's not going to work unless you work on ways of being afraid of your pressure (throwing an aerial every now and then will go a long way with this.
-If you've had one tournament under your belt that was actually quite impressive, consistently doing fox stuff is good and you didn't make many technical errors.
