This week QLD Smash is celebrating its second birthday!
QLD Smash was launched two years ago in Australia on the 30th September 2014, the week before Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS launched in Australia. Since then the website has gone on to document over 1000 tournaments, over 4000 players and over 4000 videos.
To commemorate this, QLD Smash is launching the second Annual Forum Awards. This is an online survey where you can give credit to your favourite QLD Smash members and possibly earn some badges! Users vote for other users in categories, and the users' who win each category will be awarded with an Annual Forum Award badge. All users who vote before the deadline will be awarded a participation badge.

Mamba - I don't usually listen to vods, but some commentators in qld impressed me on a stream (Dr. Ellis?)

Everyone who actually puts time and effort in to make this scene work. Figured I'd edit this to shoutout people in particular: Lachlan for organising excellent monthlies that cater for everyone and a great weekend in UQFD, cAKE for giving the poor saps who hate Saturdays a lovely Sunday alternative, Shitashi for sitting on the Smashville platform so I could kill him at 20% with Waft (please organise another Smashbox), Urisk for running FNS for so long as well as drawing more attention to our region with Stacked, and BigTrouble/Emyks for picking up the slack now that Urisk is leaving. Also big shoutouts to Pudge/Saucy/JonChee for running our majors this year, great events to watch.
