Congratz Dean!
Now you just got to beat Villyness IRL and win the tourney to be worthy of going to a nice after life.

brief shoutouts on my lunchbreak:
Blade, thank you for running this tournament. It was an enjoyable experience and couldn't have happened without your effort. You did a good job getting matches completed promptly. As someone with a bit of experience TOing, if I may offer some advice for any future tournaments:
Use Challonge instead of TIO. This lets you post the link once and people can check back for a bracket that is updated live. No need to save bracket images to Imgur.
Allow for more time. With everyone's conflicting schedules and up to three hours difference between east and west timezones I would allow at least a week for the tournament to finish. I understand the WiiU release may have cut time shorter.
Skill-based bracket seeding. You haven't had access to Wi-Fi so feel free to ask someone like Crayon if you're not really sure on the skill levels of the participants.
Dot and danO, thanks for some great, fun sets. If either of you decide to enter real life tournaments I could easily see you slot right in to the top 8 players in the NSW/ACT region.
Boozer. You're bad.

I encourage more of these online tournaments.
Because it feels real, the pressure and all those feels are real like in IRL tournies, which is a good experience to gain.
I've played Shitashi a lot, but playing him in this tourney it was so much more insane, engaging, and serious.
TL;DR - Despite lag, These online tournaments give good experience. We should have more.
