if anything the more I play with someone the more I start losing against them.

I think that's because both players learn each others play style and recognise bad habits from each other. Just becomes a matter of who adapts faster.

Anyways looking for game on 3DS. Anyone?

Luffy thats not because you are getting worse but learning a matchup or even just how someone specific plays is something you learn how to do.

Maybe you are lacking some changeup approaches?
Fake Side B
Upthrow
Spring
Aerial is a good changeup for sonic

Aiight Luffy, 3 of the major things you should work on imo:

1. Ledge options; off ledge > jump > aerial is no longer a good option unlike in Melee and Brawl, I read you like a 3rd grade textbook every time you were on the ledge and I got so many kills from it

2. Approaches; some of your approaches were incredibly binary, I noticed this especially with Marth where you whiffed like, 30 dash grabs and I punished all of them.

3. Rolling is a good option; but rolling into people's hitboxes is not.
yeah ggs, also if you want to improve you should ask the people beating you what they think you're doing wrong.

Also you can SDI the Halberd Laser, I grabbed you to test if you knew how to or not but you died to it, so.

SDI isn't as important in this game though so don't worry too much about it.
Is switch still around? I'll add him and play him

I agree with everything you said. But can you explain why off ledge > jump > aerial is no longer good. Also I know how to SDI but I didn't expect to be able to escape the laser because of SDI being weakened so I didn't really try to. Now I know :)

Because in Brawl and Melee you could drop off and retain invincibility frames, as soon as you drop off in Smash 4 you lose them, basically remember Palutena vs Falcon? I killed you twice using up smash because I knew you'd drop off and try to knee me, and because you had no invincibility you died.

Stand up on the ledge is almost always your best option, jump and roll are ok sometimes. Get up attack is meh.

There was invincibility frames from letting go the ledge before? Unless you mean he doesn't get the invincibility frames when he regrabs the ledge a second time (without taking damage).

In Brawl you could grab the ledge, quickly let go of it and you got like, 26 frames of invincibility

Can Confirm Standup feels great. Roll if they throw out something you can roll past and reset nuetral.
Jump and fall to edge seems ok if they are fishing for aerials. But this may lead you to be locked to the edge for a bit
arent fishing*

Man that's a pretty impressive Ganondorf. I haven't seen any in for glory like that, I only seem to stand a chance when I do rush down Megaman but thats really risky derp. Ggs. Many very early deaths and the reverse warlock punch KO after shield break for lolol.

I feel like I needed more nair as well as full hop fair > uair because you're so tall. Did a very terrible job of escaping your side b chains and now know how you can get 50% off one grab jeebus.
